Pinch Advertising is optimized with your users in mind - we fetch advertisements in advance for speedy response, keep bandwidth and memory use at an absolute minimum, and only offer ad units designed to complement your user experience, instead of competing with it. The advertisements themselves are obtained by our industry-leading sales partner, JumpTap - by working with them, we put their worldwide salesforce and advertiser relationships to work for you.

We believe strongly that developers should only use Pinch Advertising in ways that don’t detract from the user experience, and only when it makes economic sense - sometimes advertising performs better than paid downloads, and sometimes it doesn’t. Pinch Analytics

Pinch Analytics is a hosted solution that brings the richness of web analytics to iPhone SDK applications. It’s been out since May, and is in use on multiple iPhone SDK applications, some with hundreds of thousands of unique users.

When the Pinch Analytics code module is integrated with your iPhone SDK application, Pinch Analytics will track the number of unique, active users, the length of time your application is being used, and, if enabled, the geographic location of your users. You can understand exactly how many people are actually using your application, as opposed to simply downloading it. You can know where your users are coming from, so you can provide them with content tailored to their location. And you can track use of specific application features, so you can learn what’s working and what’s not. Statistics are updated hourly - learn how your business is doing now, not at the end of the month. And do so knowing your users’ privacy is protected - Pinch Media never collects personally identifiable information, and all statistics are available only in aggregate.
