Sponsoring iPhoneDevCamp2 Saturday, May 31st, 2008

Pinch Media has become a sponsor for iPhoneDevCamp2 in San Francisco August 1st to 3rd. Registration is open - hope to see you there. A big thank you to all the organizers - putting an event like that together is a lot of work.

Going to WWDC? Friday, May 30th, 2008

Going to Apple’s Worldwide Developer Conference in June? We are too, and I’m looking forward to it like no other conference. I’m especially looking forward to hearing about the much-rumored next-generation iPhone - it’s my belief that many of Apple’s software decisions are tied to the capabilities of the hardware, and as the hardware advances the abilities of the software development tools will as well.

We want to meet as many iPhone developers as possible at WWDC - to chat about Pinch Analytics as well as future products we’ve got in the works. If you’re going to be there and you’d like to talk with either myself or Jesse, please get in touch.

And we’re live! Thursday, May 29th, 2008

We’ve launched the first iteration of Pinch Analytics today, our product for iPhone SDK application analytics. We’re ridiculously pleased to get this out to developers, so we can see how it performs on a wide variety of applications. If you’re building something with the SDK, check us out - we’d love your feedback. We’re already working on our next iteration of Pinch Analytics and our additional products for iPhone apps, and getting ready for WWDC in early June. (If you’re an iPhone application developer, and you’re going to WWDC, we’d love to meet and talk with you there - get in touch.)

Pinch Media wouldn’t exist without the revolutionary nature of the iPhone and its software development kit - for the first time, mobile is moving unambiguously from a medium that does less than the desktop to one that does more, with the iPhone leading and forcing change throughout the entire market. We’ll be discussing the implications of the iPhone and its SDK here in much more detail in the weeks ahead. Stay tuned for more news and developments from Pinch Media!
